Calendar, Themes, Circle Time, Weather and Calender
You will receive a calender for 3-6 months at a time. PLEASE check this calendar daily!! If you as the parent forget something, your child will be very disappointed when they miss out on a special activity!
Each week we have a theme. We focus on that theme, a color and an animal. We also review the alphabet and all shapes. Everything we do will revolve around that theme.
Everyday we do Circle Time, which includes: songs, finger plays, puppet play, dances, positional wording, first and last name recognition, and gross motor skills.
We gather in the classroom everyday to do our weather and calendar board. We take turns dressing our "Freddie the Frog and Friends", practice our days of the week, discuss upcoming important dates, count together, and learn all about the weather!

School Age & Before and After School
Kindergarten & Up
We offer before and after school care and transportation to select local schools. Please call us to see if we can accommodate your transportation needs!
We also offer care for school age kids on days off and summer vacation. (Our older kids LOVE summer vacation so they can swim, go on field trips, nature walks, participate in crafts and cooking days.) SO MUCH MORE THAN ANY SUMMER CAMP WILL DO, BUT AT A MUCH LOWER PRICE!
Our daycare is District 145 (Kimberly Heights, Morton Gingerwood, Scarlet Oak, Arbor Park Middle School.) The bus stop is at the end of our driveway.
Children can do their homework if you wish or have free-play. The child must be able to read and follow the directions given on their homework sheets/assignment notebook if you would like it done by the time you pick them up.
If your child arrives before 8am they will be served breakfast, and they will get an afternoon snack after school.
We do not offer one on one homework help during daycare hours. We do however offer tutoring after hours at an additional cost per hour.
